On October 15-17, 2024, join hundreds of participants and expert speakers in Bucharest for a dynamic and thought-provoking conference centered on finding innovative climate change solutions, capitalizing on green economy opportunities, and driving meaningful climate action.
In the 3rd year of Climate Change Summit, we introduce changes meant to strengthen our mission of involving all parties into the conversation and finding solutions for a greener future. We are organising an ESG Forum on the second day of the summit where we invite various leaders to a productive conversation about creating a greener future. Moreover, we complete the summit by empowering and supporting organisations with the necessary tools to hold their own events under the umbrella of Climate Change Summit on Oct 16th-17th.
The highlight of the summit is definitely represented by our biggest addition yet: Climate Change Summit Awards, a competition that aims to identify, bring into the spotlight, and reward the best sustainability ideas in the region. It’s time to talk about practical solutions!
The Climate Change Summit Awards recognizes and celebrates innovative and practical solutions to climate challenges submitted by young people (under 30) and small and medium-sized enterprises and non-governmental organizations in Central and Eastern Europe.

The first Climate Change Summit edition, held on 4 and 5 October 2022, brought together 60+ influential speakers, including representatives from NATO, the World Bank Group, the European Investment Bank, the EBRD, and more. With the support of President Klaus Iohannis and as a Strategic Partner of the General Secretariat of the Government, the Summit was a collaborative effort with 60+ partners, including RBL, Concordia, FIC, and the Chambers of Commerce. With 766,000 online viewers on Twitter, the summit was a major event in the push for sustainability. CCS has engaged 800+ participants, including the side events: Youth Ambassadors 4 Climate Action and the biggest foresight exercise on climate solutions in Romania, engaging young people and stakeholders.
We opened the dialogue on climate change once again in October 2023. Over 1700 participants joining us in 19th & 20th Oct 2023 and listened to our speakers as they presented solutions for a future in progress. The 2023 agenda focus was intersectionality and how all industries relate to the environment and to each other. Over 1.700 participants joined 20 events across Bucharest with a global audience of 830.000+ viewers.
The 2022 edition also featured a climate-action mural, AR expo, hologram activation, and digital billboards in Times Square, New York, and Bucharest, showcasing the intersection of tech and culture in the fight against climate change. The 2023 edition featured over 20 events across Bucharest with an overall digital audience of over 830.000 participants.
