Job Description: Business Incubator Assistant

Program Description: Future Makers is an incubator for early-stage startups from Romania, Greece, Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia and other CEE (Central and Eastern Europe) countries. Until now, Future Makers had five editions. Three were focused on the local ecosystem, while two targeted the CEE region. In the previous years, we received 480+ applications from 5 countries, 210 incubated teams and 27 winners that received more than 110.000 euros in cash prizes. Starting with 2023 Future Makers will be split in 3 verticals: Sustainability & Climate, Health & Wellbeing, and Open Innovation. We are looking to attract businesses from 7 CEE countries while offering 75.000 euros prizes and a tailored learning experience for each vertical.
Position: Full-Time in Bucharest, office in the central area
Requirements:
Strong interest in entrepreneurship & Project Management and a desire to help support and grow small businesses.
Excellent communication and organizational skills,
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities
BA in business, entrepreneurship or a related field is preferred
Experience in a startup, incubator or small business environment is a plus.
Responsibilities:
The Business Incubator Assistant will work closely with the incubator manager and other team members to provide support and assistance to startups and entrepreneurs participating in the business incubator program. The assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
Providing general administrative support to the incubator team and startups, including scheduling appointments, managing emails and phone calls, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documents
Assisting with the coordination and planning of events and workshops for incubator participants, including sourcing speakers, coordinating logistics, and managing registration and attendance
Conducting research and gathering data to support the incubator team in the development of new programs and initiatives, as well as closing regional partnerships
Supporting the incubator manager in the review and assessment of applications from potential incubator participants
Assisting with the tracking and reporting of incubator metrics and progress
Job Description: Social Media Manager
Social Innovation Solutions grows its team of fast learners and solution-oriented colleagues. We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic social media person with a background in communication and digital marketing and 3-5 years of experience (experience working in startups or NGOs is preferred). The role will sit in the Communications team, and it compiles several responsibilities and requirements, as follows.
Position: Full-Time in Bucharest, office in the central area
Requirements:
Advanced knowledge of all social media platforms available (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter)
Ability to research and identify the latest trends and tactics as well as adapt them to our values, mission and objectives
3-5 years experience working as a social media responsible or in a communication/digital marketing role
Fluency in Romanian and English
Copywriting skills: ability to write short-form and long-form content suitable for all social media platforms
Project management skills to support the development of social media projects
Ability to develop a social media strategy following the projects’ main goals
Basic Canva/Adobe skills preferred
Basic paid ads knowledge is a plus
Attention to detail, analytical and critical skills, decision-making skills, innovative spirit
Responsibilities:
Create organic content suitable for the chosen social media platform having in mind the strategy, primary goals, audience and timeline
Research trends and tactics to elevate our social media presence
Collaborate with graphic designers and/or colleagues to develop visually appealing social media assets
Optimize social media channels as per the latest trends
Track and analyse monthly the evolution of our social media channels having in mind the KPIs set with internal stakeholders
Brainstorm budget-friendly solutions to increase our social media following and turn the audience into advocates
Schedule and attend all necessary meetings to ensure visibility over our social media activity and ways to improve it
Create social media calendars to ensure consistency and
Attend weekly check-in calls with the team
Write content with a social-first approach and having in mind the TOV, audience, main goals
Community management on all platforms
