SIS runs educational activities in CEE with a strong footprint in Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia engaging with 20.000+ SMEs, NGOs and public authorities.
Current programs:
E-learning platform for SMEs in sustainability. The Academy engages in 5 CEE countries 18.000+ SMEs with self-paced expert-driven educational content, webinars, micro-grants for sustainability measures, certification support and and an SMEs marketplace.
Transformator Program
Intensive 3 month education program present in 5 CEE countries for 15-20 SMEs/edition focusing on sustainability strategies. The Program offers hybrid learning settings, and consultancy hours with international experts.
ESG Programs
ESG Programs are customizable programs taking 6-8 weeks designed to equip mature SMEs with the tools and knowledge to create actionable transition plans for sustainable development in an ESG-focused world.
Sustainability Hub supports SMEs in transitioning to a sustainable economy through a digital hub of educational resources that addresses the practical sustainability & competitivity needs of the business environment. The platform also provides the opportunity for a 1:1 connection with 50+ experts.
Series of 8 events across Romania engaging 800+ large SMEs in conversations about the opportunities and challenges that the ESG framework brings.
Past programs:
Our incubators & transformation programs have supported ober the years hundreds of entrepreneurs and youth in Central and Eastern Europe to develop tech & non-tech solutions, to understand sustainable business-making practices and to receive investment, mentorship, and a strong network for the future. We worked with start-ups 1-2 years old in our CEE Future Makers incubator offering mentorship, 20K euro awards & investment opportunities and engaing 5000+ young people in entrepreneurial education programs. Also, between 2016 and 2023 we developed the Social Impact Award, an educational program for your social entrepreneurs in Romania, part of a global network.
