The Business Sustainability Programs Vertical empowers CEE SMEs and NGOs to transition towards sustainable practices. Addressing challenges such as limited know-how, financial constraints, and evolving regulations, we provide tailored support through initiatives like the Sustainability Hub, Sustainability Academy, TRANSFORMATOR Program, and ESG Programs

Position Overview: This role will ensure the execution of educational programs empowering SMEs and entrepreneurs. We are seeking an organized and proactive Educational Programs Assistant to join our team at Social Innovation Solutions. This role will support the coordination and delivery of sustainability-focused programs, ensuring seamless collaboration between project teams, partners, and participants. 

Projects:

Key Responsibilities

Operational and administrative tasks:

  • Ensure schedules, emails, and communication with partners and businesses in sync with the project needs.

  • Draft presentations for events and fundraising purposes.

Logistics:

  • Support workshops, filming sessions, and networking events through event planning and stakeholder engagement

Platform & community managing:

  • Learn our LearnWorlds platform, upload written and video content in the platform, edit platform layouts and content, update the existing content, and optimize the existing design

  • Sending regular communications to the SMEs community 

  • Understanding business needs and tailoring content and messaging accordingly

  • Managing and growing the groups destinated to the SMEs communities

Research and communication:

  • Provide support to the Project Coordinator and Communication Manager for newsletters and other types of communication

  • Provide support to the Sustainability Team with punctual research on sustainability and businesses

Reporting:

  • Monitor key program metrics from the platform, gather data about our program participants, synthesize findings

Qualifications

  • Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Political Science, Sustainability, Education, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in project coordination, education programs, or similar fields. Corporate experience is a plus.

  • Technical aptitude: Tech savvy and used to working with digital platforms (Microsoft 365, G-suite, Slack) and a willingness to learn new tools (experience with LearnWorlds is a plus).

  • Communication skills: Clear, thoughtful, and effective communicator in both Romanian and English.

  • Location & Availability: Based in Bucharest, ready to start in April 2025.
